About Us
Beautiful botanicals that last forever
Botanica began with a problem familiar to anyone who loves greenery but struggles to keep it alive. Real plants are beautiful. They're also demanding — they need the right light, the right watering schedule, the right soil, the right humidity. In the wrong space, or with the wrong owner, they slowly decline and die. And some of the most beautiful species — the olive tree, the fiddle-leaf fig, the monstera — are also among the most temperamental.
Artificial plants were the obvious answer, but most artificial plants are obviously artificial. The stiff, plasticky arrangements in hotel lobbies and shopping centres have given faux botanicals a reputation they don't entirely deserve. The craft has come a long way.
What makes Botanica different
Every plant and tree in the Botanica range has been designed with botanical accuracy as the starting point. Real specimens are studied — the natural imperfections in leaf shape, the variation in colour between new and mature growth, the way stems move under their own weight. Our manufacturing partners use this research to produce silk, latex, and high-grade polyester botanicals that, from any normal viewing distance, are indistinguishable from the real thing.

Who shops with us
Our customers range from homeowners who want greenery in a north-facing room where nothing survives, to interior designers who need a reliable, repeatable result, to hospitality businesses that need plants that look perfect every day without a maintenance contract. Whatever brings you here, our commitment is the same: the most realistic artificial botanicals available, at prices that make them accessible.
We're online-only, based in the UK, and we take our curation seriously. Every new product is reviewed by our team before it goes live. If it doesn't pass at close quarters, it doesn't make the range.
